June Budge Club and Workshop

Looking for a great way to get lots of layouts done, more inspiration, new techniques, and more!  Join the Budget Club!  This year I am celebrating my 5-year anniversary and pulling out all the STOPS!  In June to kick off summer we will be using the new Footloose Workshops on the Go kit and album pages!  I love scrapbooking and I have pictures left over all the time.  I don't want to just throw them away, but there isn't enough left over or not that great of pic to put on a page.  To solve the problem and to help me scrapbook faster, simplier, and easier I am using the Album pages.  You may have seen these before if you follow Ali Edwards and her project life album, but I wanted to take that inspiration and make it my own!  Last year my family and I took the kids to the beach for their first time!  It was a great week and I came back with a ton of photos and many stories.  It took a while to scrapbook all those precious memories and even after my pages were finished I still had photos I didn't want to just toss out.  I order the Album pages and set to work.  This is also a great way to use up scraps!
Although, I had scrapped most of my pictures I couldn't figure out a nice way to introduce the trip, until I saw the new layout in the Footloose Workshops on the Go.  I used the right page as my title page (see below).  Of course, if you know me you also know I LOVE the flip flaps!  I love the ease in adding 2-4 extra pictures layered on top to create a mini album.  On this layout I also used the tissue stamping technique and the exclusive stamp set combined with the new Wooden Badge buttons to create one of a kind embellishments.
After I had finally completed all my pages I still had over 40 pictures I just couldn't imagine tossing to the side.  I have always been inspired by Ali Edwards and thought her project life idea would be perfect for these left over photos.  I grabbed a couple album pages from my stash and set to work.  We will use the scraps from our layout and add the new colored Footloose Dimensional Elements to add simple and fun embellishments.  Just crop down a few of your photos, add a little stamping, and in a minutes you have used your extra pictures, but added a little extra special touches to those boring album pages.
More details will be posted soon about the date and location of the Footloose Workshop and budget club!  You don't want to miss this!
