Technique of the Week
1. Ink up the circles and random stamp on colonial white cardstock.
2. Cut the cardstock in a 2 x 12 inch strip and 2 1.5 x 1.5 squares.
3. Cut a 1.5 x 1.5 square for the date from colonial white and stamp the date or small title. I used "Classmates Alphabet and Chocolate alphabet for the numbers.
4. Embellish! I also used one of the exclusive "clear shapes"and some hollyhock twill ribbon attached to the photo matt using two garden green brads :)
Enjoy!

It has been a crazy week!
In other news I won the free photo session with Ami and Alison Photography during their Easter Traditions Contest. Read my entry: Growing up
in Oak Ridge, TN near most of my immediate family brought a lot of family gatherings during the holidays. Each year we helped my "Maw" decorate for each holiday season from Christmas lights to Easter Trees not a celebration was left undecorated. But it wasn't all about the decorations. Every year at Easter the big dogwood tree in her backyard seemed to welcome in the season. And each year on Easter Sunday after going to church and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ we would gather in the back yard for a family photo in front of the dogwood tree. The same year my Maw died so did that tree, but the tradition lives on. My sons first Easter we were able to find a dogwood tree just a few apartments down from our own here in Cleveland. But last year since Easter was so early we were unable to continue that tradition. I want to find a dogwood tree this year so that my daughter can become a part of that tradition. This is one my favorite childhood Easter traditions that I want to continue for years to come.

Weekend Recap
After swim lessons we went on search for a new dinning room table. All we needed was chairs, but was able to get a great deal from Scotts Furniture on a table from Ashley Furniture (retail price $819). By using cash and with the two day sale we were able to walk out with a kitchen table being delivered to our home FREE for just $446!
That afternoon I joined my ladies in Benton to create three stunning pages using Paper Candy! We had loads of fun and set dates for our next two workshops! I also unveiled CTMH National Scrapbook Day Campaign: Tickled Pink! I will try and upload photos soon of the exclusive kit.
Next we hit the road to Murfreesboro, TN. We went to see my brother-in-law and his family. My youngest niece got baptized Sunday morning. God truly is blessing our family!
Special Offer: Receive your choice of any of the new accents (Pewter Designer Brads, Pretty Pens, Foundry Metal Bookplates, Love Always Journaling Spots, or Flexi Labels) FREE with a purchase of $30 or more.
Don't forget my March order goes off today at 5 p.m. Please email or call me with your orders! Have a Blessed Day!
