Technique of the Week
1. Ink up the circles and random stamp on colonial white cardstock.
2. Cut the cardstock in a 2 x 12 inch strip and 2 1.5 x 1.5 squares.
3. Cut a 1.5 x 1.5 square for the date from colonial white and stamp the date or small title. I used "Classmates Alphabet and Chocolate alphabet for the numbers.
4. Embellish! I also used one of the exclusive "clear shapes"and some hollyhock twill ribbon attached to the photo matt using two garden green brads :)
Enjoy!

It has been a crazy week!
In other news I won the free photo session with Ami and Alison Photography during their Easter Traditions Contest. Read my entry: Growing up in Oak Ridge, TN near most of my immediate family brought a lot of family gatherings during the holidays. Each year we helped my "Maw" decorate for each holiday season from Christmas lights to Easter Trees not a celebration was left undecorated. But it wasn't all about the decorations. Every year at Easter the big dogwood tree in her backyard seemed to welcome in the season. And each year on Easter Sunday after going to church and celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ we would gather in the back yard for a family photo in front of the dogwood tree. The same year my Maw died so did that tree, but the tradition lives on. My sons first Easter we were able to find a dogwood tree just a few apartments down from our own here in Cleveland. But last year since Easter was so early we were unable to continue that tradition. I want to find a dogwood tree this year so that my daughter can become a part of that tradition. This is one my favorite childhood Easter traditions that I want to continue for years to come.

Weekend Recap
After swim lessons we went on search for a new dinning room table. All we needed was chairs, but was able to get a great deal from Scotts Furniture on a table from Ashley Furniture (retail price $819). By using cash and with the two day sale we were able to walk out with a kitchen table being delivered to our home FREE for just $446!
That afternoon I joined my ladies in Benton to create three stunning pages using Paper Candy! We had loads of fun and set dates for our next two workshops! I also unveiled CTMH National Scrapbook Day Campaign: Tickled Pink! I will try and upload photos soon of the exclusive kit.
Next we hit the road to Murfreesboro, TN. We went to see my brother-in-law and his family. My youngest niece got baptized Sunday morning. God truly is blessing our family!
Special Offer: Receive your choice of any of the new accents (Pewter Designer Brads, Pretty Pens, Foundry Metal Bookplates, Love Always Journaling Spots, or Flexi Labels) FREE with a purchase of $30 or more.
Don't forget my March order goes off today at 5 p.m. Please email or call me with your orders! Have a Blessed Day!

Foward March!
During Feb. we also celebrated Mag's 6 month birthday. She has begun to eat peaches (as seen in the photo) and drink a fruit smoothy every morning now. At last she has also begun sleeping at night. However, whoever coined the phrase "sleeping like a baby" must have either had a really good baby or had no clue. Mag has struggled sleeping at night for the longest, but now with a full belly it seems that the every hour wake up calls might ceased. Now she just needs to cut some teeth!
Last night I was blessed to pitch a blanket tent and eat dinner with my son in the living room floor. We enjoyed "dinosaur eggs" and sprite as we spent a few moments just eating a simple meal a little differently. Just remember you don't have to wait to Christmas or Easter to take pictures and scrap, but enjoy those everyday moments that nurture and foster relationships for the rest of your lives!
On another note: Over the last month I have gotten to enjoy the many perks of being a Close to my Heart Consultant. Not only do I get to share my passion of scrapping with my friends, but God has opened the door for me to enjoy it with many new faces. During the month of Feb. I held another workshop with Tamai and the wonderful ladies in Benton, a gathering at the home of Sarah, and ended the month with an all day crop at Katrina's home. I think I can speak for everyone that attended one of the three events when I say that CTMH offers products that help us all scrapbook and stamp FASTER, SIMPLER, AND EASIER! February was also the kick off for the 25th Anniversary of CTMH! Not only did Jeanette kick off the month with a free stamp set, but I also celebrated my second year with the company. I want to thank each of my many wonderful customers who helped my sales once again hit record highes with over $1000 in sales! I would like to introduce the March Constant Campaign for all new consultants who sign during the month of March (email for more details):
